1919 Mason & Hamlin A (5'8") for sale
This is an amazing piano for this price range. In the 1990's, we restrung the piano with oversized pins, repaired the soundboard, and refinished the plate, board, bridges, and case. All have held up remarkably well. Tunings are extremely stable. The case presentable and solid. The soundboard repairs intact. In 2007, we overhauled the action with best quality parts and thorough attention to detail. In preparation for this sale, all systems were cleaned and the action received 30 hours of regulating, including hammer filing, verticality adjustment, fine fitting, rebalancing, and voicing.
This instrument has a wide dynamic range, great musical tone, fast repetition, and extremely even touch. Please come try it out. And if you like it, bring your technician to inspect it. Or your teacher to play it.
Asking $14,000.
