Chris Brown

Chris Brown, RPT, the founder and owner of Concord Piano, has been working on pianos since 1977. He received formal training in the two-year piano technology program at Boston's North Bennet Street School. 

For 47 years now, Chris has persevered at the various challenges of bettering pianos. Best voicing, for instance, depends on correct friction, weight, geometry, balance, spacing, string-hammer fit, and tuning. How to best implement these parameters within constraints of time and budget has been his career's pursuit.

Along the way, Chris also developed innovative grand regulating tools and protocols, which he offers to the trade.
